Tanger Med, positioned on the Strait of Gibraltar approximately 40 km east of Tangier, Morocco, stands as the largest cargo port in both the Mediterranean and Africa, boasting impressive capacity. On the occasion of the port’s 10th anniversary, Tangier Med Special Agency (TMSA), the governing entity overseeing port operations, aimed to commemorate its dedicated personnel through a portraits exhibition. Tasked with this endeavor, I undertook the creation of a comprehensive series of portraits, meticulously capturing individuals from varied professions integral to the port’s operations. The resulting collection, comprised of 98 portraits, found a prominent display at the passenger terminal during the annual summer humanitarian initiative, Operation Marhaba by Mohamed V Foundation for Solidarity, which warmly welcomes Moroccans residing abroad.
